Welcome to GMCS, the Great Missenden Choral Society

The choir

GMCS is an amateur choir of about 60 singers based in Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire. We give two concerts a year, in the local parish church St Peter and St Paul. Our repertoire is mainly but not exclusively sacred music and ranges widely from the great choral masterpieces to lesser known works. We pride ourselves on high standards of performance, by the choir and by the excellent professional soloists whom we engage, and on being a friendly and welcoming Society. The choir is an important part of the musical life of Great Missenden and the surrounding area.

Calling all singers

Singing with GMCS is enjoyable and rewarding. Performing with professional soloists and orchestra in the lovely church of St Peter and St Paul to an appreciative audience is a pleasure not to be forgotten. We welcome new singers in all voices. Read more...
