The last concert, in April 2010, consisted of Karl Jenkins’ ‘Requiem’ Aaron Copland’s Two Motets ‘Help us O Lord’ and ‘Sing ye praises’ and John Rutter’s ‘Feel the Spirit’ (a cycle of spirituals) These works are all beautifully tuneful, and were hugely enjoyed by the choir and the sell-out audience. Rehearsals for the Autumn season will start on 6^th September 2010, in the Oldham Hall, at 7.45 pm, preceded by the AGM at 7.00pm. The subscription is still only £50!
