The December concert “Cool Yule” was held in Great Missenden Parish Church on Saturday, 3^rd December 2011. The programme of Close Harmony, Spirituals and Gospel Christmas Music  with soloist Sarah-Jane Lewis and the THE LAURIE HOLLOWAY PIANO TRIO played to a packed church Rehearsals for the Spring season 2012 will start on Monday 9th January 2012, in the Oldham Hall, at 7.45 pm. The spring concert is:- Saturday 28^th April 2012 at 7.30 pm Great Missenden Parish Church, “Music from the countryside” Michael Hurd Shepherds Calendar Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending Eric Thiman A Spring Garland Stanford Folk Songs (including “The Blue Bird”) Dyson     Sweet Thames Run Softly With Bradley Travis - Baritone Supported by The Josephine Baker Trust Lance Pierson - Reader Eloisa-Fleur Thom - Violin Supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust St John’s Chamber Orchestra Conductor - John Cotterill Admission is by ticket £12.50 (Students and Children £6.00), obtainable from : Christopher Pallet, Estate Agents, 5 – 7 Station Approach, Great Missenden.
